Alison joined AVC in January 1996. She had 8 years experience as a Speech-Language pathologist before she became a certified Auditory-Verbal therapist. Her background includes a Master's degree from the University of Georgia in Speech Pathology. She is also the parent of a 1999 AVC alumnus who has bilateral cochlear implants. Alison is licensed as a Speech-Language pathologist by the Georgia Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology, has her certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and is a Certified Auditory-Verbal therapist..

Candace joined our staff in January 2009 after spending eight years working with children with hearing loss and their families throughout North Carolina and Virginia, in a variety of settings, including private practice, in-home and public schools. She received both her Bachelor of Science (1999) and Master of Communication Disorders (2001) degrees from Auburn University in Auburn, AL. Candace is licensed as a Speech-Language Pathologist by the Georgia Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology, holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is a Listening and Spoken Language Specialist, Certified Auditory-Verbal Educator.

Aneesha joined AVC in January 2011. She has served families of children with hearing loss in both North Carolina and Florida. Aneesha received her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology in 2004 and her Doctor of Philosophy in Speech & Hearing Sciences in 2010 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and a Georgia license in Speech-Language Pathology.

Ashley is licensed as Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Georgia and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association. She is also certified as a Listening and Spoken Language Specialist/Certified Auditory-Verbal Therapist by the Alexander Graham Bell Academy. During the past 10 years she has worked in both England and the Midwest with children with hearing loss and their families.
