The Auditory-Verbal Center, Inc. is the premier provider of comprehensive Auditory-Verbal & Audiological Services to infants, children, adults and their families.

Through the Auditory Verbal approach we teach mild to profoundly deaf children to listen and speak WITHOUT the use of sign language or lip reading.

The Auditory-Verbal Center (AVC) was founded in 1977 in a small room above a church in Atlanta, GA. Since its humble beginnings, AVC has grown to a full-service hearing center in Atlanta, as well as a satellite office in Macon, GA. Over the past three decades, we have helped thousands of families communicate in Georgia and beyond. AVC, a nonprofit organization 501(c)(3), offers truly unique services, making it one of the only three such centers in the entire United States offering comprehensive Auditory-Verbal therapy and a full-service Audiology practice.
